Robert E. L. Wright of The Peace Talks, PLC has been appointed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Grand Rapids to chair a subcommittee charged with developing new rules for alternative dispute resolution processes in bankruptcy cases filed in west Michigan and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
A Harvard-trained attorney/mediator and arbitrator with over 30 years’ experience in dispute resolution, Mr. Wright has extensive experience helping resolve all types of public, private and personal disputes. He is chair-elect of the ADR Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, past chair of the Grand Rapids and State of Michigan Bar’s ADR Sections, and is included in the lists of both The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers. Mr. Wright is a panel member of the American Arbitration Association, MWI and the Association for Conflict Resolution. He is a frequent speaker on ADR and has served on numerous ADR workgroups for the Michigan Supreme Court.
